Alejandra Vergara earned her Associates Degree in Medical Assisting with an honorable mention at Cabrillo College and is currently in the process of achieving her next educational goal and credentials as a Nutritionist. Having had training and experience in a clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Alejandra wants to pursue helping people at a more personal level and enhance their health with a holistic nutritional approach. Holistic Nutrition means “treating the body as a whole” and finding the root cause of a particular health symptom. Everybody has their own metabolism and state of health, therefore as a future nutritionist, Alejandra will help each person as a unique individual with their own health assessment, personalized nutrition plan, nutrition tips, and take into consideration their food preferences. As a Certified Raw Food Chef, Alejandra makes delicious and nourishing recipes that fall under various health categories such as gluten free, raw food, veganism, paleo, a balanced diet, and gets creative if there are any food allergies. Ms. Vergara’s main focuses are the need for anti-inflammatory foods, beautifying foods, detoxifying foods, and energizing foods. Nutrition is an ever-changing field and Alejandra enjoys keeping up to date with emerging scientific research. Alejandra’s passion is to help others optimize their health to lead a better quality and happier life.
